A neon sign in the colours of the Pride Flag

Inclusion at Work

I’m part of the secretariat for the diversity and inclusion network at my work. Yesterday, together with the other professional networks, we kicked off Inclusion Month, which hosts regular events and talks to promote allyship in the workplace.

This first event is on celebrating Mardi Gras and promoting LGBTQIA inclusion, led by our Comms team. Our execs turned up, many wearing the pride flag, and affirmed their commitment to queer people through speeches about the actions they were taking. It was a wonderful event.

Now, the real work begins.

If you’re interested to see how your organisation can get started, see the free resource I created, on Intersectionality, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Access.
