Japan condense humanities and social sciences

Japan’s Ministry for Education made waves by asking universities to review and condense their humanities and social sciences departments at a time when up to 70% of employers are seeking skills from these academic disciplines. Professor Pinnington reports:

“Top international corporations are increasingly looking to recruit humanities and social science graduates with international experience, rather than scientists.”
