Every day for the rest of November, I’ll be sharing a look back over my fieldwork from recent months. You can follow the series in the tag, “Day in Applied Sociology.”
This is brief story about an incredibly hectic day. This photo captures one of various back to back meetings to receive feedback on a case study I’m working on, before moving on to discuss drafting a template for research agreements. Then I hurried across town to carry out fieldwork on a justice advocacy program. The day ended with another meeting to incorporate feedback for a forthcoming presentation and I had to work on the commute home and the rest of the evening to make final revisions (as did our teammates). Things will settle as the last of this phase of fieldwork begins to wind down. Fieldwork is definitely the best part of my day.
